Afleck was born in 1981, at the time of the start of his crimes ( march 2001) he was single and he worked in a slaughterhouse, he had in total 3 victims, Teraysa Murray, Carrie Murray and Amanda Cooper.

Crime and punishment

On 2nd March 2001 he petrol bombed a house in Sanderson Ave, Irvine, North Ayrshire, Scotland, killing 2, Teraysa Murray, aged 18 and Carrie Marie Murray, aged 12, a third woman, Amanda Cooper, died 2 months later in a Glasgow hospital.
Afflec had previously been arrested in connection with the murders with another man, 25 year old Gavin Armstrong. But, had been released to allow the police more time to investigate.
At age 25, was found guilty by a jury of mass murder. He was also found guilty of attempted murder on three other people who managed to escape. The trial finished on Thursday 13th November 2003. But sentencing was set for a later date.
Wednesday 3rd November; Affleck was sentenced to life imprisonment by judge Lord Hardie at the High Court in Kilmarnock to serve at least 27 years in prison.
