Rahan Arshad

Arshad was born in 1970, married with 3 children and worked at a slaughterhouse. In August 2006 Arshad's Wife Uzma, 32 and his 3 children Adam aged 11, Abbas aged 8 and Henna aged 6 were bludgeoned to death at their home in Stockport.

Crime and trial
 Rahan Arshad, told Manchester Crown Court he could not remember bludgeoning his wife Uzma, 32, with a baseball bat and denied killing his children.
13 March 2007, The court was told Arshad may have been motivated by jealousy after discovering his wife was having an affair. Arshad, of Turves Road, Stockport, Greater Manchester, had denied four counts of murder but was convicted by a jury at Manchester Crown Court.
The trial judge recommended that life should mean life.
